August of twenty twenty five was a busy month, yet apparently I found some time to test out a (then) fairly new camera to me, the Olympus Pen EES-2, loaded with some Kodak black and white cinefilm.
We had driven around a bit, did a few small hikes around the countryside and I snapped some pics with this little thing. What stood out to me was the vast diversity of the ground we were standing on. Fossil-studded shale, alien looking bedrock, rocky forest floor…and all with their own particular peculiarities.

I may post a review of this camera at a later date as it takes a while to finish a roll of film in this half-frame machine. As you can see I was still learning to focus with it; the photographs aren’t as sharp as I’d like them to be. Until a second opportunity presents itself, these are a few pics in the diverse Ontario nature we discovered.
