Or ‘when your sister comes to town and you want to give her a little memory in the form of a nice print but your chosen film goes tata’ (and you just suck as a photographer).

So, yes my sister did come to town and flew thousands of feet to do so, and yes I wanted to give her something nice to remember her trip by (a picture of Niagara Falls on medium format film for example – excellent for a nice, large photograph on her wall back home)…and I messed it all up.

I maintain to this day however, that it was not all my fault. Sure, I could have taken more captivating pictures, but the elephant in the room stomps on the inferior backing of this film, the processing of this film (booo, lab), or a combination of all the aforementioned.

Either which way, these are some pics taken traipsing around Niagara Falls, gleaming at the Toronto skyline, climbing over a Gardiner Expressway overpass and some other places so superbly cold my brain didn’t write them to memory. December is not the time to visit the Great White North. For normal people.
